Location: Healthcare Facilities Across NJ, NY & Upstate NY

Shift: Day Shift

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse provides specialized, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and life-sustaining interventions. The ICU Nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing early signs of deterioration.
• Administer life-saving medications, IV therapies, and complex treatments.
• Operate and manage critical care equipment, including ventilators, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a major acute care hospital.
• Strong knowledge of critical care protocols, sepsis management, mechanical ventilation, and emergency interventions.

• Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification (Preferred)
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

• Location: Healthcare facilities across New Jersey
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift Availability: Day Shift
• Requirements: Every other weekend, holiday shifts required, no on-call

• English (Speak, Read, Write)
