Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the Maternal Child Health Nurse Director will maintain oversight of multiple areas, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum Recovery, and Neonatal ICU NICU. The Women’s and Children’s Services Nurse Director will oversee the daily operations of the assigned units and will be responsible for management of departmental budgets. This role will work collaboratively with certified RNs, pediatricians, obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, and tenured staff committed to providing high-quality patient care.
This team is seeking an energetic, engaging nurse leader who comes prepared with a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred), an active Michigan State RN license, along with 5+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience within the specialties of Women’s and Children’s Health Services. In this service line role, the Nurse Director will bring their keen insight of performance improvement methodologies and will be prepared to immerse themselves not only in the hospital employee culture but in the community, as well.
This 150+ bed short-term acute care hospital provides a wide range of medical specialties to patients in the surrounding communities, including advanced cardiovascular care, women's health services, inpatient and outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, behavioral health, adult inpatient medical-surgical and intensive care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, and more.
