As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As an Automotive Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations for new and used car sales. You will ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and complies with state and federal regulations. Your role is crucial in facilitating smooth transactions between the dealership, customers, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process title and registration paperwork for all vehicle sales.
• Verify the accuracy of vehicle titles, including VIN numbers and other essential details.
• Submit title applications to the appropriate state agencies and follow up on any issues or delays.
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle titles, including filing and archiving as necessary.
• Assist customers with title-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with the sales and finance departments to ensure timely processing of title paperwork.
• Handle any title discrepancies or issues that arise during the transaction process.
• Stay up-to-date with state and federal regulations related to vehicle titles and registrations.
• Process lien releases and verify that all financial obligations related to the title are settled.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using dealership management software and other related tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Knowledge of state and federal title regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
