We are a well-established, reputable Honda and Cadillac dealership seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive title and registration processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing Vehicle Sales: Manage the legal transfer of vehicle titles by preparing necessary documents like title applications, registration forms, and payoff checks.
• Document Verification: Check all vehicle titles and related documents for accuracy, including verifying ownership information, lienholder details, and odometer readings.
• Tax and Fee Calculations: Calculate and process applicable taxes and fees related to vehicle registration.
• Compliance with Regulations: Stay updated on state and federal regulations regarding vehicle title transfers and ensure all paperwork adheres to legal requirements.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding the title transfer process, explaining necessary documentation, and addressing any concerns.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork.
• Data Entry: Input vehicle information into dealership management systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Lien Management: Process lien releases and payments when necessary, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Out-of-State Title Verification: Verify the validity of out-of-state vehicle titles to ensure all paperwork is complete and compliant.
