Requirements:

- Education: BA/BS + 5-8 years relevant experience (12 years’ experience in lieu of a degree)

Responsibilities:

- As a Systems Integration Engineer, I will help deliver simple solutions to complex problems. I will be responsible for providing sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management support for multiple Force Protection System (FPS) Families of Systems to the IBD-SS program. My primary roles will include:

- Assisting in the analysis of failed products to improve sustainment support through viable solutions.
- Documenting the current system status and configurations and preparing engineering change documentation for government review.
- Enabling day-to-day execution of systems integration and test flow, managing work orders, and driving discrepancy findings into actionable items and system improvements.
- Developing Engineering BOMs from Technical Data Packages.
- Briefing Engineering Change Proposals to the Change Control Board (CCB).
- Assisting in the development of engineering test plans and reports.
- Collaborating with IBD-SS team members from engineering, training, logistics, and operational support as well as government customers to facilitate operational improvements.
- Addressing obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS).
- Interfacing with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve equipment malfunctions and design flaws.
