Job Description

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Logistics Directorate. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assist the Logistics Director, IFMC, with expert analysis in Performance Based Logistics (PBL) product support planning and acquisition logistics policy for the Production and Deployment (P&D) and Operation and Sustainment (O&S) phases of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS).
• Develop PBL metrics and Performance Based Agreements, and assist in preparing depot maintenance planning documents and analysis.
• Support updates to logistics planning documents, including the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Transition to Sustainment (T2S) Plan, Type Classification and Materiel Release Plan, ICS to Objective Support Concept Transition Plan, Depot Maintenance Support Plan, and Demilitarization and Disposal Plan.
• Review logistics-related contract deliverable requirements list (CDRL) documents and provide product support analysis for training plans and logistics inputs to the Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD).
• Support materiel fielding planning and logistics integration efforts for various systems, including PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment, Remote Interceptor Guidance-360, Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC), Sentinel Radar, and the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS).
• Coordinate logistics support for integration efforts involving the IBCS Engagement Operations Center (EOC) hardware and software, SHORAD systems, and other air defense systems.
• Attend and support IFMC Product Support Management Integrated Product Team (PSM IPT) meetings and IFPC/IFMC Logistics Integration Working Group meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• BA/BS or MA/MS Degree.
• Minimum 10 years Logistics Analyst experience.
• 1-5 years of experience with Army Air Defense Systems and command and control systems.
• Minimum of DAU Acquisition Logistics Level 1 Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics planning, product support analysis, and materiel fielding processes.
