Job Description

Overview: $15 per hour Worlds of Fun is seeking an individual to join our team and be responsible for overseeing our International students at their hotel! Position will start in April 2025. Some specific tasks that a Resident Assistant might be responsible for include:

  • Responsible for the needs and concerns of Worlds of Fun international ambassadors in designated housing during the operating season.
  • Makes rounds of housing facilities, checking all floors, hallways, and stairwells for anything contrary to policy that might pertain to the international ambassadors.
  • Helps move the beds, frames, and sheets from the warehouse at Worlds of Fun to the hotel storeroom at the beginning of the year, and the reverse at the end.
  • Acts as main point of contact for the hotel, international students and the departments they work in.
  • Plans and executes activities for the residents bi-weekly to monthly, as well as creating fliers to advertise them and inviting other hotel residents, when appropriate.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs, as well as remaining on-call during non-scheduled hours (other than during specific approved time off instances), which entails answering incoming calls from the hotel and supervision when they come in, or calling them back shortly thereafter.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
