Role Summary

The Real Estate Manager will directly support management of Rivian’s Non-Commercial portfolio including Office, Lab, Warehouse, and Manufacturing facilities.


Responsibilities

  • Support site selection process by working with internal and external partners to coordinate market surveys, tours, and post-tour site analyses
  • Assist with drafting, distribution, and review of proposals and lease documents
  • Assist with creating and interpreting pro forma, cash flow, and NPV analyses
  • Provide project support by tracking and maintaining the inventory of project documents (includes Letters of Intent, Leases, Purchase and Sale Agreements, Work Letters, Assignments, Amendments, Addendums, etc.)
  • Coordinate closely with all internal project members including operations, design, construction, legal and lease administration
  • Take lead on gathering meeting minutes during ad hoc and regular meetings, distribute and track internal and external deliverables, and effectively communicate updates to all stakeholders
  • Coordinate consent and closeout of tenant improvements with internal project teams and landlords
  • Support the creation and/or maintenance of process documents, templates, and reporting tools
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports and presentations as required
  • Report on project status and other important aspects to team members and senior staff
  • Undertake ad hoc real estate related projects as required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience providing support to a team of real estate professionals. Experience working in corporate real estate or brokerage environment preferred
  • Experience reading lease documents
  • Transaction experience preferred
  • Ability to correspond directly with senior level staff (send emails, correspondence, etc.)
  • Ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Google Workspace including Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • Must be able to condense large volumes of information into digestible form
  • Energetic with a keen entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be collaborative
  • Self-motivated requiring minimal direction and supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Passion for electric vehicles, sustainability and real estate
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
  • Ability to be in office 4 days a week

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for Irvine, CA based applicants: $98,000 - $123,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).

Salary Range for Palo Alto, CA based applicants: $107,000 - $133,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).


Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
