PC/LAN Tech

Part-Time

The Information Systems Technician, under general direction, assists in managing performance and security for all UHS systems at SBHS.  This position implements UHS Corporate IT and HIPAA policies and standards, ensuring adherence to security procedures and trains users on system operations and procedures.  Additionally, this position ensures and coordinates all aspects of training for end users, maintains phone systems, and maintains all DVR systems.

Skills Required include: Knowledge of the utilization, operation, and care of computer and electronic data processing equipment, Knowledge of general principles of computer systems operation, including potential uses and limitations, Skill in organizing workloads to meet deadlines, Strong customer service skills, Ability to support the operation of computers, printers, switches, and related equipment. Ability to troubleshoot when there are issues, Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment, Demonstrate service excellence in interactions with other departments.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Minimum 1-3 years' experience across all computer platforms, including installation, set-up, traoubleshooting, and periodic maintenance.
