Job Description

We are seeking a high energy, motivated  Merchandiser  in Syracuse, NY 

Work in conjunction with Merchandising Team and Sales Department to develop, create, and install impactful Point of Sale (POS) to accounts. Work within the guidelines of EMN, our suppliers and SLA regulations.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS

· Create Point of Sale (POS) and display concepts that are unique to specific accounts.

· Expand these concepts by collaborating with the Merchandising Manager in the creation of ideas and securing materials for these displays.

· Manage a list of accounts and update POS monthly, seasonally, or as requested by sales associate.

· Install both special displays and stock POS by working with customers and sales management on the coordination of timing and location of displays.

· Present display ideas to Sales Reps and Retailers.

· Daily monitoring of POS System to check for ordered displays awaiting installation.

· Input completed displays into the POS system in a timely manner.

· Assist in the preparation of meetings and events as requested by the Merchandising Manager.

· Help clean, organize, and inventory the POS warehouse as requested by Merchandising Manager.

· Run deliveries as instructed by Merchandising Manager.

· Complete all necessary training programs including but not limited to, HR required training, EMN learning, forklift certification and safety training.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations including company vans (maintenance) and work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  Education, Certifications and/or licenses:

High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.

Experience:

Merchandising experience a plus.

Will train

Knowledge/Skills:

An understanding of wine & spirits is preferred

Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer systems including presentation software (SAP a plus).

Must be a result oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.

Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and meets deadlines.

Operation of a forklift (experience preferred, will train)
