Job Description: Generalist Summer Private Equity Analyst

Position Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated and detailoriented individuals for our Generalist Summer Private Equity Analyst program. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in private equity investing and portfolio management across a variety of industries. As a Summer Analyst you will work closely with senior professionals and gain exposure to all aspects of the investment process from deal sourcing to execution and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities: Investment Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial statements and build financial models to assess company performance and valuation.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in due diligence processes including evaluating market positioning competitive landscape and growth potential.

Deal Execution Support:

• Support the team in executing transactions including acquisitions financings and exits.
• Assist in coordinating thirdparty advisors and managing data room organization during deal processes.
• Conduct comparable company analysis precedent transaction analysis and other valuation methodologies.

Portfolio Management:

• Help monitor the performance of portfolio companies by analyzing operational and financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide support to portfolio companies in implementing strategic and operational initiatives.

Collaboration and Learning:

• Work closely with senior team members to gain insights into the private equity investment process.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.

Qualifications: Educational Background:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong academic performance with a demonstrated interest in finance and investing.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial modeling valuation techniques and accounting principles.
• Excellent research writing and communication skills.
• Detailoriented highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and a proactive cando attitude.
