Front Desk Agent Night Auditor Full Time Location Lake Oswego, OR (Lakewood area) :

The Lakeshore Inn, a boutique hotel located on the Lake in downtown Lake Oswego is currently seeking friendly, outgoing, energetic individuals to join our team. We are looking for a Full Time (40 hour+ a week) Front Desk Night Auditor; preference will be given to applicants having experience, but willing to train the right candidate.

Our property has 31 rooms and has standard size hotel rooms with a King, Queen or two Queen Beds, larger one bedroom suites and a few 2 bedroom suites.

Night Auditor Front Desk Agent:

Compensation: Very competitive, starting at $19, but depending on experience.

Individuals must have a commitment to providing each and every guest with EXCEPTIONAL service. The ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment, and to work well both independently and as a member of the front desk team is crucial. Individuals must also have the ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, management, and owners.

Duties include but are not limited to

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
  • Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs and maintenance for any room issues.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

Night Auditors will also

  • Balance the end of day reports for the hotel
  • Open the new day
  • Work 11pm-7am, so must be able to stay awake for the duration of their shift

Skills

  • Experience with hotel reservations software is a bonus but not required.
  • A Customer service oriented personality is a requirement
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills is a requirement

The Front Desk The Night Audit is 40+ hours a week

Those with previous front desk experience will get preference, but any individual applying needs to have at least two years minimum of customer service experience.
