Vine Hospitality is looking for a visionary Director of Human Resources to spearhead our people strategy and help fulfill our mission of providing unforgettable dining experiences.

The ideal candidate must reside in California, be willing to travel to Vine's San Jose office and restaurants as needed for meetings and operational needs and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or professional HR certification preferred (SPHR, SHRM-SCP)
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, experience with HRIS management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead and influence change in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and support business growth
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, guiding organizational design, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Lead and oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent
  • Design and implement initiatives that promote a positive work environment, high employee engagement, and foster a culture that reflects our values of excellence
  • Manage employee relations issues, mediating conflicts and ensuring resolutions align with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, and employee wellness initiatives to ensure they meet the needs of our diverse workforce

The target salary range for this role is $135k - $150k based on skills and experience.
