Cashier/Sales Location Knoxville, TN :

URGENTLY HIRING

Ian's Market 141 is looking to hiring team members for our brand new store by the University of Tennessee's campus. Cashiers will be trained on company policy and proper operational procedures directly from managment. Students are encouraged to apply. No experience is needed. Hiring for part time/full time positions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide a friendly, positive, and genuine shopping experience
• Complete customer transactions efficiently and comply with all state regulations when selling restricted products such as alcohol, delta, tobacco, & vape related products
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, deli, bathrooms, and outdoor areas (i.e. dusting, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning, etc.)
• Receive and replenish products throughout the store
• Provide customer feedback to management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Ability to work well individually and as a member of a team
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Must be able to perform repeated physical behaviors such as standing, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds
• Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed
• Must be 18 years or older

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
