Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Schedule: 2-3 days per week onsite, 20-30 hours per week

Salary: $25 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry, reconciling accounts, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed. This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to work 2-3 days per week in our office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform data entry to record financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax filings
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding financial matters
• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required
