We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our team. If you have a passion for craft beer, enjoy engaging with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Pour and serve Bull Island Brewing Company’s craft beers, as well as other beverages, in accordance with company and legal guidelines.
Educate customers about our beer selections, styles, and brewing process.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, taps, and workstations.
Monitor alcohol consumption and follow all responsible serving guidelines to ensure a safe drinking environment.
Assist in restocking inventory, kegs, and supplies as needed.
Support the team with event setup, cleanup, and overall taproom operations.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older.
Previous bartending or serving experience preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of craft beer or willingness to learn.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift kegs and other heavy items
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must have or be willing to obtain the required alcohol service certification per state regulations.
